ScanSource Charitable Foundation Board of Directors

Each board member of the ScanSource Charitable Foundation is expected to represent our Foundation for a term of three years. Attendance at monthly board meetings is required for Greenville members. Each member is also required to join a committee during his or her term. The board votes on applications and organizations to assist once per year. Each board member participates in choosing the organizations that will receive our support. Once a three-year term is up, a board member can serve on committees at any time. (I.e., events, communications, governance.) We understand that each board member is serving in a voluntary capacity. We value the input and support of each of our members.

Listed below are our current board members, with quotes from them about volunteering to be on our board:

Anthony Belcher, Greenville SC

It is a privilege to be a member of the ScanSource Charity Board. I take great pride in giving back to our communities. While working at ScanSource is a treat in itself, the unified messaging of giving makes me proud to be an employee of such a generous organization.
"Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It's important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It's the way in which we ourselves grow and develop." ~ Dr. Dorothy Height

Joan Burket, Greenville SC I’m proud to be a member of the board and witness the impact we have, both in terms of funding and volunteering. We are all willingly given the opportunity to give back to our communities and learn about needs. It’s a great way to collaborate with employees everywhere!
Beth Dameron, Greenville SC I couldn’t wait to join the Charity Board when I joined ScanSource three years ago. I am excited about the types of projects we are planning this year…lots of opportunities for the big-hearted ScanSource folks to impact our community in a big way. My favorite days are those where we get to do hands-on volunteer work, and work with the dedicated people who run the organizations around town.
Heather Campfield, Greenville SC Our company’s philanthropic accomplishments always amaze me, and I am excited to participate as a board member of the Charity Board! It is so uplifting to see how we can come together and make an impact in the lives of people in our community and the community itself.
Meaghan Dills, Greenville SC I am extremely grateful to serve on a board that touches so many in the community, and in such personal ways. One of my favorite inspirational quotes comes from Mother Teresa ~ “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” I feel that serving on the ScanSource Charity Board has given me a platform to do that on a larger scale.”
Joel Douglass, Greenville SC ScanSource and its employees are so giving. I feel blessed to be on the Charity Board, where we have the opportunity to make a difference in others' lives, especially in the Greenville community. I wouldn't have this amazing opportunity if it weren't for such a generous company and giving co-workers.
Robin Genzy, Norcross GA I love being on the board because I like seeing all the great projects we can get involved in, and seeing all the children we can help in our communities!
Jessica Howard, Greenville SC I am so honored to be a part of this board and see the impact we are making, in and around our communities. Being on this board is so rewarding - to see some of the lives we are changing, and bringing life to ideas that might not have had the opportunity to take off.
Anna Karageorgiou, Greenville SC I am excited to join the Charity Board and start working closely with my co-workers to promote volunteer work within the community. There is a Zulu philosophy I once read that now is my motto for volunteering. The philosophy is “Ubuntu” which means “I am because we are.” According to Ubuntu, there exists a common bond between us all and it is through this bond - through our interaction with our fellow human beings - that we discover our own human qualities, and have a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that we belong to a greater whole.
Jordan Lord, Greenville SC

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve as a board member for the ScanSource Charitable Foundation. I really admire how humbly supportive ScanSource is in our local and international communities, and how that support brings our communities and employees closer together. I have participated in a number of events supported by ScanSource, and have gained so much from each of them. Being a board member gives me the opportunity to have a more active and involved hand in our philanthropic efforts.

“Dedicate your life to a cause greater than yourself, and your life will be a glorious romance and adventure.” ~ Mack Douglas

Karen Mojica, Miami FL It’s good to be back for a second time around. Knowing that I can help make a difference in someone’s life is the most rewarding aspect of being on the board.
Jordan Shrack, Lenexa KS One of the best parts about being on the board is getting a chance to see the office work together to help our local community and give back.
Cate Tyson, Greenville SC “It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ~ Mother Teresa
I am privileged to be a part of a selfless, caring organization that truly loves helping others. My heart is full of joy and gratitude. I look forward to doing more for the people of our community.
Cendrine Vermer, Brussels Belgium “No matter what you do, do it with your heart” ~ Being part of the Charity Board is a great opportunity to gather all offices behind some causes. All together we can move mountains! And being part of such a fabulous team is awesome!

Zach Thrasher, Greenville SC

I’m thankful to work for a company that so highly values charitable efforts, allowing me to give a little of my time and resources back to the Greenville community.

Cheryl Wood, Greenville SC

What makes a company truly great is not how successful it is, but what it does with that success. This is a core value here and I’m proud to be a part of ScanSource’s continued work of giving back to the community.
